Help
Questions, answered plainly.
- Do I need an account to design?
- You can browse products and templates without one. Starting a project, saving it and ordering need a free PRNT account, which also works on prnt.ng and PRNT Vision.
- Is my work saved automatically?
- Yes. Edits autosave to a draft a moment after you stop; the status in the top bar says Saved only once the server has confirmed. Press Save (Ctrl+S) to keep a numbered version you can come back to.
- What does the print check look at?
- Image resolution at the printed size, text that overflows or sits too close to the edge, missing bleed, unsupported characters in a font, empty image frames and template placeholder text.
- What files can I export?
- A print PDF (every side at the finished size plus bleed, trim and bleed boxes, text as outlines), an artwork PNG of one side, and a mockup PNG where a preview scene exists. Files are RGB and the PDF is not PDF/X.
- How are prices worked out?
- On the server, from the product's pricing rules, your options and quantity. Prices shown before checkout are illustrative; PRNT confirms the final amount before production.
- Can I change where a QR code leads after printing?
- Yes. Digitally Alive QR codes are dynamic: the printed code points at PRNT, and PRNT decides where it goes each time it is scanned.
- Does a PRNT identifier prove a product is genuine?
- It proves the identifier is registered with PRNT and currently valid. It does not by itself prove that the physical item carrying it is genuine; a copied code shows the same identifier.
- Where are the camera features?
- Augmented-reality previews, QR scanning and artwork recognition belong to the separate PRNT Vision app. The website and the main app hand your project over to it.
